Braintree Community Food Pantry
Celebrating 30 years of making a difference in Braintree
Welcome to the Pantry
Visits to the Braintree Community Food Pantry are by appointment only. If you are in need of assistance please contact the pantry and make an appointment. Appointments are limited to one visit per month.
The Braintree Community Food Pantry does NOT deliver meals.
Our mission is to alleviate hunger in Braintree by providing the resources necessary for purchasing groceries to all Braintree residents in need. We are an all volunteer, faith-based, 501(c)(3) independent charity founded in 1993. We do this in obedience to the command Jesus made to His followers: "Feed my sheep." which is found in the Gospel of John, chapter 21, verse 17.
We are located in Grace Church at 14 Storrs Ave #2, Braintree, MA 02184. Grace church provides the space for meeting with our clients two Saturday's each month, where the Pantry distributes gift cards to supermarkets in the Braintree area and a bag of "extras" such as paper goods and cleaning supplies.
In our first year of operation 720 people were fed. Over 29 years later that number has grown significantly. We are now feeding over 3,000 people annually.
All of this is made possible by the faithfulness of our God and Savior, the generosity of our Contributors and the faithful service of our Volunteers.
